Biography

Adam Zango, born Adamu Abdullahi on October 1st, 1985 in Zango, Kaduna State, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and multiple award-winning actor. His parents, Mallam Ibrahim Abdullahi and Hajiya Furaira Abdullahi, raised him in a humble background, where his father worked as a blacksmith. A tribal clash in 1992 forced Adam to relocate to Plateau State, where he completed his primary education. However, lack of sponsorship hindered his academic progress, and he was nicknamed Usher for his exceptional dancing skills.

Adam later moved to Kano, where he joined a music company that he had previously worked with in Jos. His acting debut in the film Raga, directed by Mansoor Sadiq, marked the beginning of his illustrious career. Over the past 16 years, Adam has appeared in more than 50 films and established himself as a prominent figure in the Kannywood industry.

Also known as the Prince, Adam Zango is a renowned musician and an INEC Youth Ambassador. He has endorsed major corporations and their products, including MTN, Indomie, and Infinix. As one of the highest-paid entertainers in Nigeria, Adam has become a prominent figure in television advertising and the campaign ambassador for various governments and organizations.

Adam's musical career began in his secondary school days when he participated in school activities and social club events, representing Government Secondary School Laranto Jos in Plateau State. His passion for music resulted in numerous hit albums and singles, earning him a respected position in the Nigerian music industry.

Over 300 million people worldwide are familiar with Adam A. Zango. As an international icon, he has won the prestigious Africa Movie Award in London, UK, for his outstanding contributions to the entertainment industry.
